Thousands are expected to head into Manchester city centre this weekend to enjoy the four-day Easter bank holiday.
This year Easter Sunday falls on April 9, meaning there are bank holidays for Good Friday on April 7, and Easter Monday on April 10.
With those two extra days off many people will spend the time hitting the shops and heading to the Arndale Centre. With more than 240 stores and a food court shoppers can spend hours strolling the corridors in search of a bargain.

Shops include Aldi, Boots, Deichmann, Foot Locker, Game, JD Sports, Pandora and TK Maxx. The food court also includes eateries such as KFC, McDonald's, Chopstix, Pizza Hut Express and Taco Bell.
Find below the official opening and closing times for the Arndale Centre this weekend. Note that these times are for the centre as whole and individual shops and food stores may have adopted their own opening times for Easter.

- Good Friday - 10am to 7pm
- Saturday - 9am to 8pm
- Easter Sunday - Closed
- Easter Monday - 10am - 7pm
