Manchester Airport has issued a travel disruption warning to anyone heading there tomorrow.
Taking to Twitter, they advised that industrial rail actions by ASLEF will cause disruption to journeys to and from Manchester Airport on October 5, 2022. This means that anyone heading for their flights via train may be delayed and it would be wise to find alternate methods of transport.
They wrote: "Please double-check the travel options available before travelling and leave additional time for your journey.." Due to the industrial action there will be no Northern Rai l services operating on Wednesday.

Liverpool Lime Street through Earlestown to Manchester Airport will be one of the train routes affected by the strikes.
In addition, there is a very limited service on Saturday, October 8 and customers are advised not to travel. Services are also expected to be affected on Sunday, October 9, especially in the morning, so people are urged to check before travelling.
Northern advised: "On strike days, only travel by rail if necessary and if you do travel, expect severe disruption and plan ahead - especially the first and last trains of the day. Remember to check your entire journey as other train service providers may be affected."
