A man was lucky to escape with just minor injuries after they fell from a platform at Didsbury village tram stop and got stuck on the tracks. It is understood he was leaning against the tram before it set off and fell down the gap.
Police were called to Didsbury Village station at around 18:30pm yesterday (October 22). The man was taken to hospital as a precaution.

Residents reported delays to the tram services in the area for up to three hours following the incident. A spokesperson for GMP said: "At around 18:30pm yesterday (22 October 2022), officers were called to a report of a man who had fallen off the platform at the Didsbury Village Metrolink Stop in Manchester.
"He received minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution."
