A man who boasts the record for the most square tattoos on his body has said he was left sneezing black ink after his nose was done.
Matt Gone holds a Guinness World Record for the remarkable 848 black squares tattooed on his body, which was confirmed by two doctors who had to count them for him.
The American said the process has been painful, particularly when getting his nose and baby toes painted, and even left him sneezing ink.
Speaking in a video for Guinness World Records YouTube channel, he said: “The most painful spot on the body to get tattooed?
"The nose. That is the most painful, even the baby toes, the nail beds hurt a lot.
“I sneezed up black ink for about 20 minutes after that and it was the most painful thing I’d ever been through.”
Matt got his first tattoo in 1985 and since then has even tattooed his tongue and eyeballs - which he said was "very painful".
“The eyelids are very painful, even with anaesthetic," he said.
"I have the inside of the eyelid tattooed; people generally only tattoo up to the eyelash line.”
He added that he thinks he is just the sixth person in the world to have ever got his eyeballs inked, with his initially coloured blue and green but now he has also added magenta and gold.
He explained: “My tongue is tattooed, but it was hypodermic injections.
“I actually modernised the technique for tongue tattooing back in 2010.
“My tongue is more tattooed than any other person in history and my tongue is tattooed all the way to the base down here in my throat.
"Do not do this at home, there is no professional that can do this.”
It comes as a dad who inked his entire body black has shared what he looked like before his extraordinary transformation.
Ink fanatic Remy, from Canada, has tattooed his entire body with jet black ink - and has spent £87,000 on tattoos and piercings to date.
His tattoo designs include a huge mouth with teeth on his stomach.
The dad-of-one has also stretched his bottom lip and his ears, with the latter now "in the shape of Swiss cheese".
Alongside his black body ink and modifications, Remy is known these days for his shaven or cropped dark hair, black framed glasses and ripped physique.
Prior to his extreme transformation, pictures show how he looks totally different.
In his almost tattoo-free picture, Remy rocked only one inking on his chin and a few piercings as well as beach blonde hair.
However, his inking isn't to everyone's taste as the dad has revealed some of the backlash he's had.
Remy said: “I’ve had a few people say things like my son should be taken from me because of how I look but this is only ever online.
“My argument to that would be that if you think that way, you should never have children yourself.
“People stare a bit [in public] but they only say nice things and ask how long it took, how I handle the pain and generally compliment my work.”
