Man who hid heroin and cocaine up his bottom wanted by police

A man who is now wanted by police was previously jailed after hiding heroin and cocaine up his bottom.

Ryan John Eustace, 29, who has links to Toxteth, has breached his licence conditions following his release after serving a sentence for a drug offence, police said. Eustace was locked up for four years back in 2019 after he admitted possessing heroin and cocaine, with intent to supply.

Caernarfon Crown Court was told back in 2019 Eustace was a front seat passenger in a Mercedes car stopped by police officers at Ffordd Penbryn, Bethesda in North Wales at about midday on January 24 that year. Richard Edwards, prosecuting, said the officers smelled cannabis in the vehicle and a search revealed Eustace had a small amount of cannabis.

A strip search of the now 29-year-old was conducted and it was found he had concealed a package in his rectum. The package was removed and it was examined and found to contain 58 individual wraps of heroin worth £580 and 31 of cocaine with a value of £650, a total of £1,230.

Eustace is described as 6ft 3in, medium build, dark brown hair and blue eyes and has links to the Toxteth area. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said if you see Eustace or hold any information, contact us via @MerPolCC on Twitter, ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’ on Facebook, or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 with reference 22000117884.
