Man who died in M4 crash near Swansea named

A man who died in a crash on the M4 near Swansea has been named.

Thavarajah Sasikaran, 41, was from the Waun Wen area of Swansea and was the victim of the fatal road traffic collision which happened on February 18.

South Wales Police is continuing to investigate the collision which happened on the M4 Westbound between junctions 46 and 47, shortly before 8.35pm on February 18.

The collision involved a silver Nissan Qashqai and a pedestrian, who despite best efforts, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are appealing for anyone who has yet to come forward who may have witnessed the collision or has dash-cam footage of what happened or who may have seen the victim on foot walking along the motorway to contact South Wales Police, quoting occurrence *057156.
