Man who died in Fife plane crash on day before Christmas Eve named by police

THE man who died in a plane crash in Fife the day before Christmas Eve has been named as Nicholas Denison-Pender.

The 50-year-old, from Perthshire, was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency services rushed to the site of a light aircraft crash near Fife Airport, Kinglassie, at around 11.40am on December 23.

Police have said that enquiries remain ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Detective Inspector Samantha Davidson said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Nicholas as they come to terms with their loss.

“The family have asked for their privacy at this difficult time.

“An investigation into the circumstances of the crash remains ongoing and we would ask for anyone with information, to please come forward."
