Man who died after Wishaw disturbance named as Kevan Doyle as investigation launched

A man who died in a disturbance in Wishaw has been named.

Kevan Doyle was found dead by police on Friday (October 28) at around 8.50pm on Glencleland Road. Officers were responding to reports of an incident.

The 43-year-old's death is being treated as "unexplained" by cops with an investigation underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident, the Daily Record reports.

Nobody is reported to have been charged so far.

A statement from Police Scotland said: “We were made aware of a disturbance at Glencleland Road in Wishaw around 8.50pm on Friday, 28 October.

“Emergency services attended and a 43-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries remain ongoing.”
