Man Wanted In Washington State After Stabbing On College Campus

Knife found at the scene after a man, who was later shot dead by police, killed four members of his extended family in Queens

Authorities in Washington state are searching for a man following a disturbing incident at Clark College. The suspect allegedly stabbed a woman in the neck on Tuesday, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.

The victim, who was sitting outside the Archer building on campus, recounted that the assailant approached her while screaming for help. Initially, she mistook the attack for a punch until she noticed blood, realizing she had been stabbed. Fortunately, the woman was transported to a nearby hospital and received treatment for her non-life-threatening injuries.

After the assault, the suspect fled the scene on foot, heading northbound towards Water Works Park. Despite efforts to locate him, including a temporary lockdown of the college, the authorities were unable to apprehend the individual.

Surveillance images of the suspect, described as an East Asian or Middle Eastern man aged between 30 and 40, with a beard and medium build, have been released by the police. This individual was also reportedly involved in a separate incident at the college parking lot the day before the stabbing.

In the prior incident, the suspect approached a woman inside her vehicle and attempted to engage her in conversation. When the woman opened her driver's side door, the man tried to force his way into the car. Fortunately, the woman's screams deterred the assailant, who fled the scene.

Students at Clark College expressed concern and unease following these events, with one student highlighting the impact on their sense of safety both during the day and at night. The community remains on edge as authorities continue their search for the suspect.
