A man has allegedly stolen a laptop and phone worth £1,500 from a busy Edinburgh café.
Footage shows the man entering the shop and leaving moments later with the tech tucked under his arm.
The incident happened at popular café Noon, on Waterloo Place, near Edinburgh Waverly, at around 4.15pm om Tuesday, June 21.
It is understood the laptop and phone belonged to a staff member who was helping a customer at the time.
The family business is owned by the Wilson's who say they will replace the laptop and phone for their employee as a gift after saving up his hard earned tips to purchase them.

Jim Wilson said: "We are shocked at what happened, our employee was on a meal break and was answering personal emails on his personnel laptop and left his phone next to laptop.
"A customer needed assistance and our employee got up to assist and 30 seconds later the guy took his laptop and Apple phone.
"As it’s unlikely to be recovered we will be buying our employee a new laptop and mobile phone.
"We tried to track the guy but apple phone was then switched off. The employee is devastated as he bought the equipment having saved up his tip and service charge money but happier now we will be replacing the laptop and phone."
The suspect was wearing a denim jacket, brown cap and is described as being in his late 20s/early 30s."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received reports of the theft of a phone and laptop at a premises on Waterloo Place, Edinburgh at around 7.30pm on Tuesday, 21 June, 2022.
“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information should contact 101 quoting incident 2992 of 21 June.”
