Man Utd vs Brighton
Premier League 2018/19
Venue: Old Trafford
Date: Saturday, January 19, 2019
Kick-off time: 3pm GMT
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be seeking his seventh straight win in all competitions as Manchester United's caretaker manager when Brighton head to Old Trafford on Saturday.
Solskjaer's temporary reign has been a resounding success so far, with United beating Tottenham at Wembley last weekend to spark hopes of a top-four finish following Jose Mourinho's disastrous start to the season and subsequent sacking.
Confidence is high among United fans with Solskjaer unlocking the team's attacking potential, but Chris Hughton's Brighton could provide a tough test after being narrowly beaten at home by League leaders Liverpool last Saturday.
Man Utd team news and line-up
Man Utd: de Gea, Young, Jones, Lindelof, Shaw, Ander Herrera, Matic, Lingard, Pogba, Martial, Rashford
Subs: Bailly, Sanchez, Mata, Lukaku, Andreas Pereira, Dalot, Romero
Brighton: Button, Montoya, Duffy, Dunk, Bong, March, Gross, Stephens, Propper, Locadia, Murray
Subs: Saltor, Kayal, Andone, Knockaert, Balogun, Steele, Gyokeres
Referee: Paul Tierney (Lancashire)
Score prediction: Man Utd 2-0 Brighton
Solskjaer has been credited with dramatically improving United's attack in a few short weeks, but the Norwegian has also been working to shore up a leaky defence - and he has been rewarded with three clean sheets in a row.
Brighton have only scored 24 goals this season, but have conceded just 30 - that's two fewer than United, and the last time the Seagulls conceded three or more was at the start of November against Everton.
While Solskjaer will want to attack from the off, he would probably swap a goal or two for a clean sheet ahead of some huge games in February.

Head to head (h2h) history and results
The two sides have met three times in the Premier League, with Brighton - somewhat surprisingly - having the better record.
United won their first Premier League meeting 1-0 at Old Trafford in November 2017, but the Seagulls won the return fixture 1-0 at the Amex last May before shocking Mourinho earlier this season with a 3-2 home win in August.
