Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is busier than ever as he seeks to strengthen his squad this summer.
United now are in the middle of what is a long-running saga around Mason Mount and his proposed move, with three bids from the club rejected by Chelsea. The third will remain on the table but Ten Hag and the club have agreed to pursue other targets.
The Dutch boss has also seemingly thrown a lifeline to David de Gea, who appeared to be heading out of Manchester. Amidst all this, the battle for control at Old Trafford rumbles on. Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe have both been told to ready themselves for a takeover, but the Glazers' favoured option remains unclear.
Here is all the transfer news from the red half of Manchester…
Caicedo’s United “dream”
Manchester United have shifted their focus to signing Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo after their move for Mason Mount stalled.
Caicedo has previously admitted that it would be his “dream” to play for the Red Devils. Caicedo was the subject of a £60million bid from Arsenal in the January transfer window, but that was turned down by the south coast side.
It now appears that the Ecuadorian is high on United’s wishlist and they will pursue a deal this summer having missed out on his signature in 2020.

Ten Hag transfer lists 11 players
Erik ten Hag is keen to see a clearout of his first-team squad at Old Trafford this summer – with 11 players allowed to move on this summer.
United are on the lookout for a new starting goalkeeper, two strikers, a midfielder and a defender. However, there is an awareness that the current squad is bloated and must be slimmed down.
Goalkeeper David de Gea is out of contract while club captain Harry Maguire and striker Anthony Martial are among the higher-profile players being made available for sale.

Pulisic set for Chelsea exit
Mason Mount is not the only Chelsea star who has been on Manchester United’s wish list, but Christian Pulisic has been targeted by United in the past two transfer windows.
Now, the American international has confirmed his desire to leave Stamford Bridge this summer. The player told ESPN that this summer transfer window "is absolutely a time where I need to figure out what's best for my future, somewhere I can go and play and be trusted and feel good in what I'm doing. I want to find that joy at a club level again."
Pulisic is likely to leave the Premier League but United may reignite their interest in a player who has already confirmed he has a “soft spot” for the Red Devils and would have liked to play for the club.
