As conversations continue over Manchester United's ownership, some progress is finally being made when it comes to the Red Devils' transfer business.
Manager Erik ten Hag is keen to bolster his squad going into the upcoming Champions League campaign, but there are outs as well as ins. Finally, though, Champions League looks set to become the first new arrival in what could yet become a much busier summer.

Mount arrives ahead of deal
Mason Mount has been spotted arriving at Man Utd's Carrington training base ahead of his imminent move. The England star is set to undergo a medical, with an announcement of the transfer expected this week.
Chelsea had been holding out for a fee of £58m plus £7m in add-ons for the academy talent. United have reached a compromise, though, with the deal likely to be worth £60m including add-ons.
Mount, who has been on Chelsea's books since he was primary school age, has played just shy of 200 senior games with the Blues. He was part of their Champions League winning team in 2021, and played for England in the European Championships final that same summer.
Hojlund bid upped
Man Utd are prepared to go as high as £40m for attacking target Rasmus Hojlund. A £30m bid has already been knocked back by Atalanta, but The Sun reports that United are ready to go higher.

Danish sensation Hojlund has caught the eye with his international exploits, scoring six times in his first six senior caps. He also netted nine times in Serie A last term as Gian Piero Gasperini's side finished fifth.
United's issue could end up being financial. They only have limited funds available after the Mount deal is completed, and Atalanta are in no hurry to sell a player with four years left on his contract.
Verbruggen move a non-starter
Bart Verbruggen was one of the names mentioned as a potential replacement for David de Gea. However, the young Dutchman has instead joined Brighton after a breakout season which saw him named Anderlecht's player of the year.
“I am very pleased to have signed Bart," Seagulls manager Roberto De Zerbi said. “He is used to playing a type of football similar to ours and he will have no problem fitting into our group.
“He has the potential to become a very important player for the club in the coming years,” he added. Verbruggen has joined on a five-year deal and will provide competition for Jason Steele and Robert Sanchez.
