Manchester United have had an extremely busy summer despite just one new arrival at the club so far.
Mason Mount is the Red Devils’ only signing of the transfer window thus far following his £55m switch from Premier League rivals Chelsea. United do not appear likely to be finished there, with a whole host of positions needing strengthening.
Goalkeeper appears the most likely slot in the team that will alter following David de Gea’s shock exit announcement. A striker also features high up on Erik ten Hag’s summer shopping list.

Red Devils set Onana deadline
The candidate to replace De Gea between the sticks looks set to be Inter Milan star Andre Onana. The Cameroonian goalkeeper is closing in on a move to Old Trafford.
The Spaniard’s exit saw the Red Devils make a decisive move for Onana and an agreement is set to be reached. Talks between the two clubs are progressing and it seems only the final details remain.
It is further suggested that a full agreement is set to be reached within the next 72 hours, according to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, with the Red Devils set to pay €50m (£42.7m) for the signature of the former Ajax star. That has also triggered Inter to look for potential replacements.
United handed Hojlund boost
Speaking of replacements, it also appears that Atalanta have dropped a major hint over the future of United target Rasmus Hojlund. The Dane has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford as the potential big-name forward that Ten Hag is looking for.
According to L’Equipe, the Italian side are already planning for life without the former Sturm Graz forward. It is suggested they are closing in on a deal for Almeria's El Bilal Toure.
The Red Devils could also provide them with Hojlund’s natural successor, with the suspended Mason Greenwood being considered by the Atalanta hierarchy ahead of next season.

Eric Bailly linked with Spain return
Ivorian centre-back Eric Bailly might finally have the chance to secure a permanent exit away from United. The defender, who spent last season on-loan in France with Marseille, has not played a senior game for the Red Devils since December 2021.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Real Betis are interested in signing him and have earmarked him as a potential defensive recruit for the summer. Should a move go through, that would see Bailly return to Spain after previously representing Espanyol and Villarreal.
United are thought to be driving a hard bargain though and reportedly want to receive at least £8million for his signature. They signed him for £30million back in 2016 under Jose Mourinho.
