Man Utd star Bruno Fernandes reveals James Garner hope which will worry Nottingham Forest

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has expressed his excitement at the potential of playing alongside Nottingham Forest's on-loan midfielder James Garner. The Portuguese international was answering questions from fans on Twitter.

Garner first arrived at the City Ground on loan in January last year and scored his first goal for the club a month later in a 1-1 draw against Derby. The 21-year-old re-joined the Reds on loan this season.

The Man United academy graduate has impressed during the current campaign having scored three goals along with four assists in the Championship as Forest chase promotion.

And his performances for the Reds this season appear to have caught the attention of Fernandes who has just signed a contract extension at Old Trafford. When asked on Twitter which player from United's academy he looks forward to playing alongside one day, he simply replied: "James Garner."

Forest enter the final 10 games of the season knowing that they have a great chance to secure a play-off spot thanks in part to a series of strong performances from Garner.

The Reds are currently ninth in the Championship with 58 points and are three points off the play-off places with three games in hand over sixth-placed Blackburn.
