Nottingham Forest fans have sent their reaction to Leeds United’s 2-2 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Leeds went into their first game since the dismissal of manager Jesse Marsch one position above the relegation zone, with just goal difference keeping them out of the bottom three. The gap between 13th placed Forest and Leeds was six points, with the Whites looking to half that with their game in hand.
And it looked like they were on their way to doing so. A goal from Wilfried Gnonto in the first minute and an own goal from Raphael Varane just after the half time break put Leeds in a commanding position at Old Trafford.

But Erik Ten Haag’s side fought back in the second half with Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho on the scoresheet to bring them level. United did then push for the winner with 20 minutes left to play, but Leeds were able to resist to take a point from the game.
The result comes just days after Forest came out as 1-0 winners over Leeds at the City Ground to move them closer to Premier League safety in their first season back in the league.
Following the game at Old Trafford, caretaker manager Michael Skubala was both proud of his team, but also admitted he was disappointed to not take all three points after leading by two.
Really proud of that. This is a tough place to get a point. They're really good,” he said, via LeedsLive . “They're a good team and that's what I say it was really good to go 2-0 up and disappointed not to win the game but I'm really proud that they saw it out and we got a point for the club.”
Leeds are back in action on Sunday when they again play Man United, although this time it’s at Elland Road. Forest meanwhile face a trip to Craven Cottage to take on high-flying Fulham.
It’s the time of season where fans turn their eyes to other results around the league, and it was no different for Forest, with fans on social media happy to see United come back.
