Manchester United will be hoping to pile more misery on Tottenham Hotspur when the two teams meet in north London in the Premier League.
United currently sit six points above Spurs in fourth place with two games in hand, with Tottenham having suffered two huge blows in their pursuit of Champions League qualification.
After losing 3-2 to Bournemouth courtesy of a 95th minute winner from Dango Ouattara, they were thrashed 6-1 by Newcastle on Sunday and interim boss Cristian Stellini was promptly axed.
United, meanwhile, were knocked out of the Europa League last week by Sevilla, but booked a spot in the FA Cup final with a victory over Brighton on penalties. However, Erik ten Hag will have to contend with a number of injury problems when his side visit the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.
Lisandro Martinez is out for the remainder of the season after fracturing his metatarsal in the first leg against Sevilla, while fellow defender Raphael Varane is also absent with an ankle injury that forced him off in the same game.
Bruno Fernandes remains a doubt after picking up an ankle injury in the win against Brighton, with Ten Hag yet to make a decision over his involvement. "We have to see how Bruno is," he said.
"We don't know yet, he's a question mark. I think, for the rest, we're quite okay. It's more often with players that we protect them - prevention. But it has to settle down. He played the full game and it happened in the first-half. Thursday is quick, but we have to see what's possible."
Ten Hag has welcomed back the likes of Luke Shaw, Christian Eriksen, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial from injury in recent weeks and all four are expected to start against Tottenham. Shaw could continue filling in at centre-back alongside Victor Lindelof, while Martial may lead the line ahead of Wout Weghorst.
David de Gea is almost certain to keep his place in goal, with full-backs Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka rounding out the back four. Eriksen is set to partner Casemiro in midfield, with Marcel Sabitzer likely to fill in for Fernandes if he is unable to feature and Antony expected to join Rashford out wide.
