Manchester United interim coach Ralf Rangnick has already detailed how he is altering his trusted formation from 4-2-2-2 to 4-2-3-1.
That is quite the move from the German, who was under pressure from his own players to change his favourite tactics.
With Brentford up tonight, the Red Devils are in dire need of a win to lift the mood at the club after a sour start to life.
There are still plenty of unsolved transfer problems, such as Anthony Martial, Donny van de Beek and Jesse Lingard.
But Rangnick cannot afford to concentrate on the transfer window right now and has to start making results his priority.
Despite United looking at their best under the former RB Leipzig coach against Aston Villa for large swathes, they relinquished the three points in alarming fashion after two late goals saw them draw 2-2 against Steven Gerrard’s men.
And Rangnick cannot afford for that to happen again with a top-four spot in the Premier League a must.
It means there could be some important changes from the side that started against Villa, notably in midfield where Nemanja Matic was handed a rare start at Villa Park on Saturday.
The Serbian could return to the bench to allow Scott McTominay back into the side, after he missed out through suspension.
Luke Shaw might see a return to the side as well to take Alex Telles’ place with the Englishman also returning from being suspended.
Harry Maguire was dropped against Villa but Rangnick might bring him back with Victor Lindelof toiling in his place.
However, Jadon Sancho can expect to remain on the bench despite the United boss insisting he is one of the best players in training.
He said: “The level of expectation was a lot lower compared to situation where you come to a club like Manchester United for a high transfer fee with a high level of expectation.
“Everyone expected from him that he would be one of the best players in the team. This is psychologically and emotionally a more challenging situation than the one at Borussia Dortmund.
“Whenever I see him train, he's one of the best players in the sessions. But it's not only about training at the highest possible level. I said that to him the day before yesterday: confirm the performances you show in training when you're playing on the pitch.”
Much was made of Ronaldo’s absence at the weekend after he picked up an injury in training and he has not been seen at the club since, mainly because he jetted off to Switzerland to pick up his FIFA Special Award on Monday night.

Whether he is fit enough to start against Brentford remains to be seen but it might be more likely that he is on the bench while Edinson Cavani retains his spot.
With Martial out of the picture and Marcus Rashford and Sancho underperforming, it would be a shock to see Anthony Elanga be dropped after fitting in seamlessly and there are high hopes for his development under Rangnick.
Man Utd expected line-up: De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Shaw; Fred, McTominay; Elanga, Fernandes Greenwood; Cavani.
