Erik ten Hag will no doubt be breathing slightly easier after emerging from a month which provided him with a baptism of fire in his tenure at Manchester United.
After failing to land Frenkie de Jong in the transfer saga of the summer and losing their first two Premier League games of the season, Ten Hag was already teetering on unstable ground following the 4-0 humiliation at Brentford.
But successive victories put United back on course before a late spending spree to bring in Casemiro and Antony added plenty of star quality to Ten Hag's squad, before kicking off September with another win over Leicester.

Ten Hag request blocked
Erik ten Hag was vetoed by the Manchester United board over his attempts to sign Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech.
Ten Hag oversaw a busy transfer window at Old Trafford with Ziyech viewed as a potential alternative to Antony, whose arrival at United was confirmed on Thursday, having agreed an £85million fee with Ajax earlier this week.
While Ten Hag was given the green light over the majority of his summer signings – with Antony and Lisandro Martinez joining upon his request from Ajax, alongside free agent Christian Eriksen and Tyrell Malacia arriving from Feyenoord. However, the Manchester Evening News claims that United’s board vetoed the boss over his interest in Ziyech.

Ralf Rangnick thought Manchester United's pursuit of Bologna striker Marko Arnautovic was a joke while his three-player shortlist for the club was ignored.
As detailed by the Manchester Evening News, Rangnick thought United’s interest in Arnautovic was a joke that had been devised by reports that were not true. However, the club's interest was genuine.
Rangnick, who has spent the majority of the past decade as a sporting director rather than a manager, had handed United a three-player shortlist to sign this summer - though all his recommendations were ignored.

Gakpo snubbed move after Van Gaal talks
Cody Gakpo has revealed that he decided against a move to Manchester United after speaking to their former manager, Louis van Gaal.
Gakpo was in demand this summer after dazzling for PSV Eindhoven. Unsurprisingly, a whole host of Premier League sides have been credited with an interest in Gakpo's services in recent months, including Arsenal, Southampton and Leeds. It was revealed that Manchester United were also keeping tabs on the Dutch forward.
However, Gakpo has revealed that a conversation with former United boss Van Gaal, who is the current head coach of the Dutch national team, helped him decide against making a move overseas.
