Manchester United squandered a golden opportunity to strengthen their grip on fourth place in the Premier League after being held to a 0-0 draw against Watford at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Interim manager Ralf Rangnick could only watch on as his side were wasteful in front of goal and made sure to point the blame at the players on the pitch.
One of the players who failed to take his chances was Cristiano Ronaldo, whose recent struggles has led a former Premier League defender to come out publicly and tell him to retire.
It wasn't all bad in Manchester on Saturday though, as both United and Watford players came together before kick-off to promote a message of support towards Ukraine.

Rangnick slams stars
Manchester United drew 0-0 with struggling Watford despite dominating from start to finish.
United managed 22 shots at Watford's goal but failed to find the net - Cristiano Ronaldo did have an effort ruled out for offside.
The draw meant United failed to consolidate fourth place and Rangnick made his feelings heard in his post-match press conference.
"Our job as coaches is to help the team to create enough chances," the interim manager told BBC Sport post-match. "The number of clear chances we had today had to be enough to win a game like this."
Ronaldo should call it a day
It was rough day at the office for Cristiano Ronaldo.
The United striker has been out of form recently and that loss of form was carried into the 0-0 draw against Watford.
Ronaldo missed a number of chances and had a goal ruled out for offside and former Premier League defender Frank Lebeouf believes the 35-year-old should retire at the end of the season.
Lebeouf told ESPN : "Do you know what? I think there is a time where you have to think, 'What do I do with my life and my career'."
United support Ukraine
Manchester United and Watford players gathered together before kick-off to send a message of support to Ukraine.
The showing of solidarity was Ralf Rangnick's idea as Russia continued it's invasion of Ukraine.
All 22 players and Rangnick were photographed with the United boss holding up a sign which said 'peace' in multiple languages.
Speaking about the conflict earlier this week, Rangnick said: "The situation is desperately sad."
