Incoming Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has reportedly already found the man he wants to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back.
The Dutchman will arrive at Old Trafford at the end of the season and is expected to undertake a huge overhaul of the club's playing squad. One of the first names he could look to target is Inter Milan full-back Denzel Dumfries.
It comes as a United youngster, who has been compared to Ten Hag's former Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt, has returned to the club ahead of schedule following a loan move to Birmingham City this season. Opportunities could come his way after Eric Bailly and Phil Jones confirmed they intend to leave United when Ten Hag's revolution kicks off this summer.

Wan-Bissaka replacement identified
Ten Hag wants Inter Milan’s Dumfries to replace Wan-Bissaka in United's starting line-up once he arrives, according to reports.
The current Ajax boss is keen to bring in new full-backs on both sides as part of his United overhaul as he targets players who can quickly adapt to his style of play. Dumfries is thought to fit the bill – and could offer significantly more attacking threat than Wan-Bissaka.
But having arrived in Italy less than a year ago as part of a £15million summer move, United may have to fork out a considerable amount to convince the Serie A giants to part ways with the defender.
Two more stars to leave
Bailly and Jones have both indicated to the club that they will leave the Red Devils this summer.
United are set for huge changes in the summer transfer window, with Ten Hag looking to overhaul the squad. While plenty of new faces are expected to arrive, a number of stars are also set to leave.
Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Edinson Cavani and Lee Grant will all be on the move, with Jones and Bailly poised to follow them. Bailly has become increasingly frustrated at his lack of first-team football this season – particularly given the struggles of captain Harry Maguire.
Jones is also thought to see his future elsewhere despite making a handful of appearances this term.
'Next Matthijs de Ligt' returns
Teden Mengi has returned to the red half of Manchester early following his loan spell at Birmingham.
The defender, who was likened to De Ligt by former United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has suffered a season-ending injury and will now undergo rehabilitation with his parent club. Ten Hag will no doubt be happy to hear comparisons to De Ligt, having managed the Dutch defender at Ajax.
Menghi will now try and regain his fitness in order to impress his new boss when he arrives at the club this summer with United not short of options at the heart of defence.
