Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has been labelled "jealous" after his rant about Arsenal and their injury record over the past few weeks. The Gunners have since been dealt a whole host of concerns in the squad, with Takehiro Tomiyasu set to miss the rest of the season.
Add to that the fact that William Saliba is absent from training in the build-up to the Leeds clash at the weekend and Mikel Arteta could find himself in a tricky position. Discussing United's own injury concerns last month, Ten Hag said: "I think until now we’ve only had one game where the whole squad was available. We had only one game like that.
"That was the only time. When you see all season we have had some setbacks, every time we’ve dealt with it. We have to deal with it well but Arsenal, almost all the time their squad is totally available."

Arteta hit back when asked about the question, saying in his own press conference: "We’ve been carrying injuries throughout the season. We had Emile [Smith Rowe] out for four months, Gabriel Jesus out for four months, Alex [Zinchenko] for two and half months, Thomas [Partey] for a month and a half, Eddie [Nketiah] for a month and a half. We had quite a lot of injuries already, but we dealt with that."
In wake of that topic of conversation, former striker Chris Sutton has had his say, believing the Ten Hag is "jealous" of Arteta. He told BettingSites: "That could well be a bit of sour grapes maybe from Ten Hag. I don't think that you can say Arsenal have been lucky with injuries.
"The players have obviously been doing the right things and working hard. They'll be doing stuff pre-training to make sure they're conditioned and ready to play. And then warming down correctly after games. That's not to say Manchester United players aren't doing the same things but in some seasons you get more injuries than other seasons.
"But you know, as a consequence of Arsenal having that continuity while they're doing so well. Ten Hag has done well but he’s probably jealous to be looking and seeing Arsenal just miles ahead of them at the minute."
