The latest transfer rumours from the Premier League and around the world
Man Utd lead €40m race
Reports in France state Manchester United are "in the lead" to land Monaco defender Axel Disasi.
The Monegasque man is high up the agenda for a number of Premier League clubs and is valued by his club at €40m.
RMC Sport state there have been no concrete offers for him as yet but talks over his future are imminent.
He has another two years to run on his contract in the south of France but United are said to be at the front of the queue for his services, with the Old Trafford club selling him their project vision.
United boss Erik ten Hag "holds him in high esteem", according to the same publication. The Red Devils will be looking to overhaul their defence this summer, with Harry Maguire likely to leave the club as ten Hag shakes things up for a push in next season's Champions League.
Meanwhile, the Metro report than ten Hag has told Scott McTominay he is free to leave the club this summer.
The 26-year-old has fallen down the pecking order in the north west and is now deemed surplus to requirements.
United to gatecrash Arsenal's Rice bid
Arsenal's move for West Ham star Declan Rice is being rivalled by Manchester United - who are considering a cash-plus-player offer to the Hammers.
Mikel Arteta's side have had two bids for Rice knocked back, with the latest being £75million up front and £15million in add-ons.
According to The Telegraph, United are now keen to join the Rice hunt by offering either Harry Maguire or Scott McTominay as well as a significant cash bid for the 24-year-old.
The Gunners remain in pole position to bring in Rice, who has the Hammers' blessing in leaving east London this summer.
Liverpool to bid for Thuram
Liverpool are set to bid for Nice wonderkid Khéphren Thuram after the under-21 European Championships this summer.
Thuram, the son of French legend Lillian, is attracting interest from Jurgen Klopp and his scouting team.
French outlet Nice-Matin state the Reds are big admires of the 22-year-old, who will be in action for Sylvain Ripoll’s side tomorrow night against Italy.
Liverpool chiefs are expected to make their move after the tournament is over, with Nice not prepared to entertain offers under £40million.
The club also looked at signing Jean-Clair Todibo from the same club but have now moved on to other targets.
Meanwhile Spanish outlet Fichajes state the Reds have been quoted €25m for Bayern Munich star Ryan Gravenberch. The 21-year-old can play No.6, a No.8 and a No.10 and has been likened to Thiago, who also joined from Bayern.
Newcastle want duo
TeamTalk report Newcastle United are after AC Milan for Sandro Tonali and former Liverpool misfit Arthur Melo this summer.
Tonali would set the Magpies back between €60m and €65m to bring him to St James' Park, with Milan now said to be considering their options. Newcastle have offered to double the player's salary, according to reports.
Meanwhile, Newcastle are credited with interest in Arthur after his disastrous loan stint at Anfield last season. Aston Villa are also monitoring the situation.
Juventus are weighing up whether to sell or loan the Brazilian.
