Manchester United have discovered their full schedule for the 2023/24 Premier League season, as manager Erik ten Hag looks to build on a third-placed finish last time out.
The Dutchman - who is looking to kick on from his impressive debut season - has a favourable opening-day clash - on paper, at least - as United welcome Wolves to Old Trafford to kick-off their campaign on Monday August 14.
While Julen Lopetegui’s side cannot be written off, Ten Hag would have been keen to start the campaign with a home fixture and an early feel-good factor (although United slipped to an opening day loss at home to Brighton last term).
However, United’s tests come thick and fast thereafter as their second match is a trip to Tottenham under their new boss Ange Postecoglou while the second away match of the campaign is also to North London as they face last season’s runners-up Arsenal.
United will be keen to improve on their solitary point from those two trips last campaign.
There are also notably difficult runs in December – when United play host to Chelsea and Bournemouth while facing away games at Newcastle, Liverpool and West Ham – and the closing weeks of the campaign, rounding off the campaign by playing the Gunners and Brighton.

We also already know the six Champions League group stage dates for United, with midweek games preceding league trips to Burnley, Newcastle and Liverpool, along with home games against Brentford, Crystal Palace and Luton Town.
Of course, there are still two months to go of the summer before the new Premier League campaign gets underway. There is likely to be plenty of news and developments on and off the pitch at United before kicking off their new season against Wolves.
Aside from the club's potential sale amid a protracted takeover process, the summer transfer window is now officially open, and Ten Hag is aiming to progress in pursuit of targets such as Mason Mount, Rasmus Hojlund and Kim Min-jae, although the club appear to have called off their pursuit of Harry Kane.
