The Manchester United fanbase clearly isn't too worried about Cristiano Ronaldo's recent departure, as they feel they have an adequate future replacement in Alejandro Garnacho.
The young Argentine has emerged as United's breakout star of the season, having popped up with vital goals against Real Sociedad in the Europa League and a last-gasp winner away at Fulham during the last Premier League fixture before the World Cup. The teenager was handed another start for the Red Devils during their Carabao Cup clash at home to Charlton on Tuesday night.
Within minutes of the first whistle, United fans had taken to social media to heap praise on Garnacho's performance as Erik ten Hag's men look to book their place in the last four of the League Cup.
24 minutes into the game, one Twitter user wrote: "Garnacho has that young Ronaldo vibes!" while another added: "Garnacho is literally a Ronaldo regen. We're blessed."
One echoed a similar if a rather bold sentiment as they wrote: "@agarnacho7 looks better then what Ronaldo did at 18. #garnacho."
Others also mentioned the two and how similar they are, with one writing: "Garnacho is Ronaldo after he signed from Sporting. Exactly the same."

One fan actually used the comparison as a stick to beat Garnacho with, as they claimed: "Garnacho needs discipline, sometimes just receive the ball, pass and move, you can't move the crowd every time you get the ball you're not Ronaldo in the 2000s."
Ten Hag certainly has full faith in the teenager, which in turn has prompted Garnacho to publicly thank the manager for placing so must trust in him this term.
Late last year, the winger told United's in-house media: "Erik Ten Hag is a very good manager and, above all, he's a great person, he always pays very close attention to us all, and helps us a great deal, especially the young players.
"I've had to keep working hard until that moment came where I was given my opportunity. For the moment, I'm making the most of the opportunities he's giving me.
"I don't want to take a backward step from here, I'd like to appear regularly in the team and keep going in the same way."
There had been fears following Ronaldo's exit last month that United's forward line would be left too thin to secure Champions League qualification.
However, the Red Devils have acted swiftly and are on the brink of securing the signature of Besiktas striker Wout Weghorst on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
Though the Netherlands international struggled in the Premier League during his time with Burnley, a stellar World Cup campaign with the Oranje appears to have caught the eye of his fellow countryman Ten Hag.
