This summer could be a pivotal one for the Premier League's biggest clubs, all of whom have plenty of questions to face going into the transfer window. With Manchester City having already strengthened by bringing in Erling Haaland, Liverpool will be looking to make signings of their own to further close the gap on the champions.
Yet it looks like Jurgen Klopp's side will have to contend with losing Sadio Mane, with Bayern Munich keen on the forward. It means that, with Divock Origi also likely on his way out of Anfield, the Reds may be forced to spend big on bringing another attacker to the club.
Elsewhere, new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly may well look to splash the cash in order to make an instant impression at Stamford Bridge and help to strengthen Thomas Tuchel's side after a season of hit-and-miss performances.
Spurs, meanwhile, will no doubt be under pressure to spend money for manager Antonio Conte in the Italian's first summer in charge of the club. Having qualified for the Champions League, Conte could well see his budget boosted, whilst also being able to keep hold of key players.
Arsenal enjoyed a positive campaign, with only a run of poor form in the closing stages of the season costing them in the race for the top four. The Gunners have been heavily linked to Man City star Gabriel Jesus but, with the club looking to improve year-on-year under Mikel Arteta, what else is needed to boost their Champions League hopes?
Manchester United arguably face the biggest problems out of the big six clubs following a woeful campaign. With Erik ten Hag appointed manager and question marks over the future of a large portion of their squad, will they have to spend big this summer?
Or will newly-rich Newcastle United outspend them all?
