Manchester United and Arsenal could be set to miss out on Joao Felix after it was revealed the Portugal international reportedly wants to play for Paris Saint-Germain.
The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Atletico Madrid after struggling for form under Diego Simeone and it is understood he could be allowed to leave in January. The club's CEO, Miguel Angel Gil Marin, confirmed that a transfer for Felix can be sanctioned if the right offer comes in for the player.
Atletico have reportedly put a €100million price tag on Felix, who has attracted interest from a number of clubs across Europe, including United and Arsenal. Aston Villa are also supposedly in the race to sign the attacker, who has scored three times in 12 appearances for the Spanish club this season.
However, according to Sky Sports Italy, via Get French Football News, Felix's preferred destination is PSG as the French club look to bolster their front line with another talented attacker. Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Lionel Messi currently occupy PSG's first-choice front three, although with Messi debating his future, Felix could be a player the French giants turn to.
Les Parisien have reported that PSG are interested in Felix, who also shone for Portugal at the Qatar World Cup as they reached the quarter-final stage before losing out to Morocco. The report also added PSG would be the 'obvious option' for Felix as he debates his long-term future.
"I don't think that Felix will go to Arsenal because he wants to play for PSG. PSG would be the obvious option should he leave PSG", Sky Italy reporter Gianluca Di Marzio said in an interview with SoccerNews.

Felix was touted as one of the brightest young talents in Europe when he came through the Benfica academy, before cementing his place in the club's first-team. The forward grabbed 20 goals in 43 matches in his first full season in Benfica's senior set-up, which earned him a big-money swoop to Atletico amid interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Despite signing a seven-year contract to become the second-most expensive teenager of all-time behind Mbappe, Felix started his Atletico career slowly and didn't impress during his first campaign at the Wanda Metropolitano. He struggled with injuries and fitness-related issues, which also plagued his second season at the club.
However, last term, Felix won Madrid's Player of the Season award, named by the club's supporters, after finishing the campaign with 10 goals and 6 assists. With his Atletico future in doubt, Felix is attracting many suitors and could be set to leave the club after a three-and-a-half-year stint.
