Manchester United welcome Everton to kick off the first FA Cup run under Erik ten Hag as the Red Devils look to secure their first piece of silverware in six years - the longest they have gone without a trophy since 1983. United have reached the quarter-finals eight times in the last 10 years and with the league out of reach, Ten Hag has the perfect chance to bring some glory in his debut season.
United are the favourites going into this tie at 4/11 with Betfred while the Toffees are 8/1 and a draw is 7/2 ahead of the FA Cup clash. This will be the 13th meeting between the two sides with both sides achieving six wins in that time and the first time they will face in the third round of the competition.
The Red Devils will be looking to translate their current form in the Premier League to the weekend's cup competition as they sit in the top four and two points ahead of fifth-place Tottenham Hotspur. For Everton, it will be a welcomed distraction for Frank Lampard's side as they sit in the relegation places on goal difference.
