Manchester United can potentially go third for a couple of hours at least if they can pick up a win against a Crystal Palace side struggling to find form. The Red Devils are without a win in their last two matches but sit equal on points with Newcastle United who play West Ham later on Saturday while Palace have suffered four winless games on the bounce.
United are the favourites going into this Premier League clash at 4/11 with Betfred while Palace are 8/1 to cause a shock at Old Trafford and a draw is 18/5. The hosts have won once in their last five league matches against Patrick Vieira's side and are winless in their last two but have never gone three top-flight matches without a win against the Eagles in over 50 years.
Vieira's side have picked up just one win in their last nine matches in all competitions and just five points out of a possible 27 in that time. The Eagles are slowly seeing themselves pulled into the potential relegation dogfight unless they can address the dip in form.
