Man United showing 'keen' interest in Wojciech Szczesny and more transfer rumours

Manchester United are said to be showing a 'keen' interest in Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.

That's according to a report from TuttoJuve, who say the former Arsenal man could be available for as little as £8.5m this summer, with Chelsea also thought to be keeping close tabs on the Polish international's ongoing situation.

Having made over 500 appearances in his career, the 33-year-old is under contract in Turin until 2025 and turned out 40 times for Juve during the 22/23 campaign. United have also been linked with the likes of Diogo Costa of Porto and England number one Jordan Pickford so far this summer, with David de Gea's situation still up in the air.

The Spaniard's contract is set to expire next month and while the Reds are keen to keep hold of him, the require the goalie to agree to a significant wage reduction in order to do so.

Elsewhere, the Reds are said to be readying a bid for Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani, with Spurs continuing to play hardball when coming to agreeing terms for the transfer of their all-time record goalscorer Harry Kane.

The England captain tops Erik ten hag's wishlist, although United are working under the assumption that Spurs will not let him leave during the upcoming window.

Kolo Muani has previously admitted he is in no rush to leave Germany but with United keen on bringing in a new striker ahead of the 23/24 season, Metro have reported that the Reds are now accelerating their plans to bring in the 24-year-old forward.

Having scored a whopping 23 goals and laid on 17 assists in 46 appearances for Oliver Glasner's side last season, the German side are reportedly holding out for a figure close to £80m for their in-demand frontman this summer.
