Manchester United are aiming to complete some signings before they fly to Bangkok on Friday and plan to finalise other deals during their tour of Thailand and Australia. That means that they could step up their interest in Arsenal target Lisandro Martinez, who remains on Erik ten Hag's wish list, despite the club's move for left-back Tyrell Malacia.
United already hijacked Lyon's move for Feyenoord defender Malacia who has already completed one round of medical tests at Carrington.
According to our colleagues at the MEN, United are open to reinforcing all areas, hence the move for Malacia and Martinez despite the three left-backs already available to Ten Hag.

Arsenal plan to play Martinez principally on the defensive flank, but having managed the Argentine at Ajax, Ten Hag may think he's a better option centrally. Either way, the club's stance on the defender is clear as he's very much on the Red Devils' radar.
Mikel Arteta has problems on the left-hand side on the left of the back four, with Kieran Tierney’s battles against injury causing issues in the previous campaign. Add to that the lack of left-sided centre-back options beyond Gabriel and it’s an area that needs addressing.
That’s where Ajax’s Martinez comes in, with the versatile defender able to play both positions as well as a deeper midfield role if necessary.
The Gunners are said to have had two bids turned down so far, though, in an attempt to reach a solution, the Athletic have reported that the north London outfit are set for a meeting with the Eredivisie champions this week to work out a deal. It's believed that Ajax want €50million (£43million) for his signature.
