Manchester United have been tipped to make a move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour thinks United could explore a move for the England captain in the summer. Kane was a target for Manchester City in the summer of 2021 but a move did not materialise and Pep Guardiola's side have since signed Erling Haaland.
Meanwhile Real Madrid could move for an unhappy Kylian Mbappe next summer and Chelsea could be off the table because of Kane's Tottenham allegiances. So United, who need a striker, could firm up their interest in a player who will enter the final year of his contract at the end of the season.
He will be out of contract at the end of the 2023/24 campaign and could negotiate a pre-contract move away in less than a year's time. "If you're Harry Kane, where'd you go after this?" Parlour told AceOdds.
"You are not going to go to Man City now, they've got Haaland. Man United is probably the place he'd most likely go because I don't think he'd go to Chelsea. Other than that, where would he go?
"So I think United would probably be the ones who maybe come in in the summer, I don't know what sort of money he'd be worth now. "I don't think he'd be worth the money Spurs were trying to get out of Man City.
"He's 30 years old in July - you're getting more to the end of your career there." Parlour thinks Kane could spearhead a mouth-watering United attack and provide the perfect foil for Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho.
"If Harry Kane was in that team, Rashford could play on the left-hand side and still get his goals as well," Parlour added. "Sancho maybe off the right, if he's in form, that would be some front three."
