Manchester United fans may yet see Amad Diallo in action before the season’s end, despite fears his ankle injury had ruled him out until the summer.
The Ivorian winger had been a rare bright spark in what has been a disappointing campaign for the Red Devils, but has been sidelined since February 7.
However, head coach Ruben Amorim has hinted that Diallo could make a surprise return in the final month of the season - though he remains cautious about setting expectations too high.
Speaking ahead of United’s trip to face Arsenal in the English Premier League this weekend, Amorim said: "Amad we will see in the end of the last month.
“He could be… I don’t want to say nothing, but I have the hope to have Amad before the end of the season. We’ll see."
