Metropolitan Police have confirmed they have arrested a Manchester United supporter at Wembley Stadium after his image circulated on social media.
The United fan was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and taken into custody after wearing a football shirt with offensive printing on the back. The shirt has been condemned by the Hillsborough Survivor's Support Alliance.
Police in London say they have 'worked proactively with officials at Wembley Stadium to identify the individual' before he was then identified.
