Two people were arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs after a police raid in Stockport.
Officers carried out a drugs warrant in the Compstall area yesterday (Wednesday). A 40-year-old later 'voluntarily attended a police station' and was arrested.
Later in the day, a 30-year-old woman was also detained while further searches took place. Both the man and woman have been released pending further enquires.

Several items inside the property were seized and sent away for forensic analysis. Police said another drugs warrant was carried out in the Cale Green area on Monday (March 20) by Stockport's Neighbourhood Policing Teams.
No arrests were made but a number of mobile phone SIM cards three sets of weighing scales were seized. Police said the action carried out across Stockport was part of a new neighbourhood policing structure, with another 264 officers posted to local teams.
Inspector John Picton, who runs the Stockport Central Neighbourhood Policing Team, took part in a walkabout with councillors and council officials in Edgeley. He said: "I want to make sure these walkabouts are a regular feature of the community policing across the Central district.
"People in Edgeley are concerned about shoplifting, homelessness and drug dealing, and it is the role of the police to make sure people who live and work here can go about their daily business with reassurance and in safety."
Chief Inspector Clare Ryle, GMP’s neighbourhood inspector for Stockport, said: "The new neighbourhood model will put our communities back at the heart of policing, not just in Stockport but across Greater Manchester. Our neighbourhood teams will be working with partner agencies to fight crime and address local issues like burglary, speeding and drug dealing.
"Each of Stockport’s neighbourhood teams will have its own priorities, reflecting the needs of our communities – we want to understand these issues so we can address them."
