A man pranked a woman into thinking a car park's pay and display machine used facial recognition software, using a walkie-talkie.
TikTok user Daniel Green, 31, placed one walkie talkie on top of the pay and display machine, then waited in a van parked nearby with the other. A video shows a woman approaching the ticket machine, in the car park of the Asda store in Southport's Central 12 Shopping Park, and attempt to buy a ticket.
But painter and decorator Daniel used the walkie talkie to make it appears as if a voice was coming from the machine. He then told the woman he was recording her face, before asking her to perform various manoeuvres, including a side profile, back of the head and even a 360 shot.

Eventually, Daniel let on what he was doing by telling the motorist to look at the van he was sitting in just yards away. He said: "I put a walkie-talkie on a parking meter and used it to direct people into doing what I wanted them to do.
"I did this because I thought it would work well. I do a prank channel. I just try and think outside the box. I spoke to the woman afterwards and asked her if I could post it online and to view it on TikTok, she laughed and said 'yes'."
The amateur prankster has nearly 87,000 followers on TikTok and strives to get "the public’s natural reaction", as he dislikes staged pranks.
Earlier this year, customers at the Tesco on Albert Road in Southport were made to queue for a cash machine, only to find they'd actually been stood behind a mannequin that was placed there by Daniel.
In the video, Daniel explained how he set up the dummy affectionately known as "Derek". Two customers could be seen patiently waiting to use the cash point, Daniel then jumped out of his car to join the growing queue.
After some time waiting Daniel tapped Derek on the shoulder revealing the mannequin. As he picked Derek up to take him away, the mannequin's head fell off.
