Man to face trial over murder of salesman found dead in Dublin driveway

A man charged with the murder of a married father of three has been sent forward for trial to the Central Criminal Court.

Michael Tormey was found dead in his driveway at Thomond Road in Ballyfermot, Dublin, at 4.30am on January 9.

The 49-year-old, who worked as a salesman and a doorman, suffered gunshot wounds to his back and chest. His wife and a young child were in the house at the time.
