A man has faced court accused of murdering a woman at a home in Adelaide's south.
Police found the body of a 39-year-old woman at a property in Morphett Vale shortly after 7pm on Sunday following reports a person was unresponsive inside the home.
Officers arrested Clifford Aurthor Neumann at the home and charged him with murder.
The 40-year-old Morphett Vale man was remanded in custody and appeared via audio-visual link at Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Monday.
Prosecutors sought 12 months to conduct forensic testing, DNA comparisons, analysis of clothing and interrogate mobile phone records.
But Magistrate Briony Kennewell said she was more inclined to set a six-month wait until Neumann's next court appearance, based on what she had seen in the facts of charge tendered to the court.
Neumann is due to face Adelaide Magistrates Court in May.
