A man was arrested after a chase with police during which he threw a high powered bike at them.

Merseyside Police confirmed a man has been detained after officers saw him carry out a drug transaction at an address in Waterloo. The 34-year-old is also suspected of drug supply offences, disqualified driving, and money laundering.

He was found in possession of numerous snap bags of cannabis and approximately £6,000 in cash which is believed to be from the proceeds of crime. Merseyside Police announced the arrest on the Sefton Police Facebook page last night.
