A man has been taken to hospital with a head injury following a four-vehicle collision in the Gosforth area of Newcastle.
Around 8.30am on Wednesday morning, police responded to a four-vehicle collision on Kingston Park Road. As a result of the incident, one man was taken to hospital with a head injury, however this injury is not believed to be life threatening.

A spokeswoman for Northumbria Police said: "At around 8.40am this morning (Wednesday) police received a report of a collision on Kingston Park Road, Gosforth. Officers attended the scene where four-vehicles had collided. One man was taken to hospital with a head injury, not believed to be life threatening. Officers remain at the scene to allow for recovery of the vehicles.
A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 8.40 to a four vehicle road traffic collision on Kingston Park Road, Newcastle but we were not needed and were stood down by the police."
Kingston Park Road has now re-opened.
