A man has been taken to hospital with leg injuries after a crash in Cwmbran on Tuesday night. Police said they were called to an incident on the A4042 between the roundabout near the Gwent Police headquarters and the Gwent Crematorium roundabout, between Sebastopol and Croesyceiliog, at around 8.40pm on Tuesday, April 19.
Officers attended the scene of the incident which involved a Suzuki Celerio and a Volkswagen Fox. A man from the Volkswagen was taken to hospital by ambulance after he sustained a minor leg injury. His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

The incident saw the road closed for more than an hour on Tuesday night before police confirmed it had reopened just after 10pm. A 39-year-old man from Pontypool was issued with a traffic offence report (TOR) for driving without due care and attention.
A statement from Gwent Police said: "We received a report of a road traffic collision on the A4042 in Cwmbran at around 8.40pm on Tuesday, April 19. Officers attended to assist with traffic management and the collision involved two cars – a Suzuki Celerio and Volkswagen Fox.
"The passenger of the Volkswagen was taken to hospital by an ambulance after he sustained a minor leg injury. A 39-year-old man from Pontypool was issued with a traffic offence report (TOR) for driving without due care and attention."
