Man taken to hospital after Bridgend crash closes main road

A man has been taken to hospital following a single vehicle crash on a busy Bridgend road. The crash took place on the A4061 between Litchard Hill and the Parc Derwen turn-off early in the afternoon on Wednesday, October 12.

A police spokesperson said: "South Wales Police was called around 1.25pm today following reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision on the A4061 at Heol-Y-Groes roundabout, Litchard, Bridgend. The male driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital.

"The road was reopened just after 3.30pm. The public is thanked for their patience whilst the road was closed."
