A man has been arrested by police after he was caught jumping the barrier as King Charles' car made its way to Buckingham Palace.
The dramatic moment was captured on video and shows police officers jumping the barrier trying to catch up with the unknown male. After he jumps the barrier he is then swarmed by half a dozen offers before being tackled to the ground.
He was then lifted up by police officers, handcuffed and taken away in the back of a police van amid loud cheers from the crowd, The Mirror reports. Earlier today, the King was formally proclaimed monarch at the Accession Council at a historic meeting where he made a moving tribute to his late mother.

As heir apparent, the former Prince of Wales automatically became King after the death of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday afternoon in Balmoral. But in keeping with tradition, the Accession Council was called as soon as possible to make the formal proclamation of their successor.
During proceedings, the King confirmed that the day of the Queen's state funeral is to be a bank holiday. Charles’s role as King and the name he will use was confirmed during a meeting of the Accession Council attended by privy councillors at St James’s Palace in London.
More than 200 privy councillors – a group of mostly senior politicians past and present, some members of the monarchy and other national figures – were present to hear the Clerk of the Council read the Accession Proclamation.
