Man suffers 'two broken legs' following a collision with a police vehicle in West Belfast

A man was taken to hospital after suffering two broken legs following a collision with a police vehicle in West Belfast.

At around 8.50pm on Thursday, March 30, a pedestrian was involved in a collision with a police vehicle on the Falls Road.

The man was subsequently taken to hospital and it is understood that he suffered two broken legs as a result of the collision.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police in west Belfast received a report of a collision between a car and pedestrian on the Falls Road at 8.50pm on Thursday March 30 th .

"The pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries. No roads were closed as a result of the collision."
