A man has been arrested following a report of an aggravated burglary on Wednesday night in which a man sustained stab wounds.
Police received a report at around 8:55pm that a man, armed with a knife, forced his way into a house in the Aghanore Walk area.
It was reported that a 46-year-old man, who was inside the property, received stab wounds during the incident. The man sustained injuries to his neck and hands.

A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of related offences and is currently in custody at this time.
PSNI Detective Sergeant McCarragher said: “Enquiries are continuing and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 2096 15/02/23.
