A man suffered life-changing injuries during an assault in which he was robbed at the Cheltenham Festival.
The victim was assaulted by a group of unknown men at around 6pm on Thursday, March 16 - the third day of the famous meeting which is attended by thousands of Irish racing fans every year.
It is understood the victim was walking towards the coach park when he was approached by a group of men and attacked. He fell to the ground and was kicked, sustaining a broken wrist which required an operation.
This took place near to racecourse roundabout and the victim also had his jacket, which contained a rose gold diamond ring, stolen. The victim was left with life changing injuries to his wrist, Gloucestershire police said.
Officers are appealing for witnesses of an assault. They said the offending group was made up of four men, one of them was described as being black and two were white with ginger hair.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault and hasn't already spoken to police or who was driving past and has dashcam footage they feel may be relevant. Information can be provided to police online by completing the online form and quoting incident 216 of March 27.
