A man suffered two fractures to his leg after being assaulted in a Bristol park. He challenged two unknown men who were mistreating their dog before they tripped him and left him on the floor.
Avon and Somerset Police say the assault took place in St Georges Park at around 2.45pm on Thursday, May 18. They are now appealing to the public for information.
The two suspects are described by police as "black and both with short, black braids". They had a boxer/Staffordshire bull terrier-type dog that had a red/brown coat.

Investigating officers are asking anyone who saw what happened to come forward. They are also urging anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch.
Police said in a public appeal: "Officers are looking for anyone who may have seen the incident, or have any CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage. If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5223115864, or complete our online appeals form.
"You can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form. No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will not go to court or have to speak to police when contacting Crimestoppers."
