Man suffers broken nose after being punched in Bristol by 'erratic driver'

Police are seeking witnesses after a man was assaulted in Bristol by an "erratic" driver. He sustained a broken nose after being punched in the face by a man on the Duckmoor Road/ Dunford Street junction in the Bedminster area.

The incident happened at around 12.20am on Saturday, February 18. The offender is said to have got out of a vehicle which he was driving erratically prior to the attack.

A spokesperson from Avon and Somerset Police said: "We’re appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Bristol. The victim, aged in his 40s, sustained a broken nose when he was punched in the face by a man.

"The offender had got out of a vehicle which was being driven erratically prior to the attack. The incident happened on the Duckmoor Road/ Dunford Street junction in the Bedminster area at around 12.20am on Saturday 18 February.

"Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has dashcam or CCTV which could help our investigation, is asked to contact us.

"If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5223039374, or complete our online appeals form.

"You can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form. No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will not go to court or have to speak to police when contacting Crimestoppers."
