Man stunned as elderly neighbours send angry note for parking outside his own home

A man was stunned when his elderly neighbours sent him a note demanding he park his motor somewhere else. The passive aggressive note from his neighbours urged him to park his car elsewhere so they can continue parking in 'their' spot.

The neighbours claimed that their seniority should mean that they can park in front of their own house - despite the road being on-street parking, reports the Mirror.

Posting on Reddit, the man shared an image showing the note and said: "Night before last, I came home late after work and parked in a new spot close to my house. Found this on my windshield yesterday afternoon."

The note states: "Old peoples lives matter too! We are in our 70s and would like to park in front of our house."

The man's confusion at the note was echoed by many Reddit users. While some were sympathetic to the septuagenarians' cause, most agreed that their behaviour crossed a line - as the space did not belong to anyone.

One person wrote: "Make sure to leave a note on their car next time they park to remind them not to park in front of your house."

While another stated: "I would go out of my way to leave this person the closer space as a courtesy unless I needed it for a reason. But when you approach me like this, I'm absolutely not going to do it."

A third penned: "Maybe if they worded it by asking nicely instead of wording it like they did." "I would never park in another spot after that. I would go out of my way to park in front of their house," somebody else noted.
