Man flown to hospital after Queensland crocodile attack

A man is in hospital after being attacked by a crocodile in far north Queensland.

The attack happened at Archer Point near Cooktown just before 1pm on Saturday.

The man, aged in his forties, suffered lacerations to his head, shoulder and leg.

He was airlifted by a Queensland Ambulance helicopter to Cairns Hospital in a stable condition.
